Mac was the musically creative and more interesting half of the Lennon-McCartney song-writing partnership. Still ... no one could capture pretentiousness quite like Lennon. Lydon and N Gallagher come close though *thumbup*
He's good at what he did (years ago) but what annoys me with him as with all these other celebrities is when they start using their so called status to preach to others. In the case of Paul McCartney one of his rants was anti-fracking. Now what ever your views is on the subject why should we listen to a man whose worth billions and out of touch with reality tell us what to think. When his fellow OAPs are huddled infront of a one bar fire freezing to death wondering how they're going to pay the next bill because of the rocketing fuel prices, it won't matter a shit to him because even if gas gets to £100 a unit, he'll not go cold!
