I've a set of Pirelli SC1/2 slicks. Bought new last October intended to be used on my old 2022 Panigale V4 however never did. But i ran them on my ZX10R for two days. I sold the ZX10 and took these off, wrapped them up in black cellophane wrap and they are stored laid flat in the garage. Question is how long can they be stored for after being used and going through a few heat-cycles? Will they ok to use next year as i am going to run another set of wheels for track use and would mount these on them. If not then i will sell them now and let someone else get use out of them
If you are keeping them isolated from moisture and freezing temps then they will be fine, just ensure they go in warmers early before use. As it has already lost a few heat cycles, you should expect a requisite reduction in grip compared to a new slick.
