Hi, can anyone tell me what the difference are between the 1098 slip on ECU map files please : A - 2237B37SNPZ B - 223737PNA2 C - 2237SNA1
A = 57mm (around 2008/09) - probably about the same as B B = referred to as a stage 1 tune, slip on using stock pipe work (2007-09) C = 96518607B full system 70mm (2007/08) I helped set this up some years ago https://jpdiag.akress.com/modelselect.php
I had the option C showing as a slip on option too, but it could easily be a misprint / one of Ducati's many part number revisions I guess...
I have checked the refs with my library of maps (rather than doing it on my Ipad ). I have been able to access the reference data for each map. 2237B37SNPZ is a map ref for the slip on. Manufactured 2/3/2007 (Second Oldest) 223737PNA2 is a map ref for the slip on. Manufactured 7/6/2011 (Newest) 2237SNA1 is a software ref relating to 96518607B for the slip on. Manufactured 6/2/2007 (Oldest) I do not know what the differences are. TunerPro would allow you to compare the map files. Ducati will have revised their maps over time with possible tweaks to fuelling and timing. As 223737PNA2 is the newest, it may be the one to start with. Be careful with the TuneECU refs as they were all sourced from Ducatidiag files. Ducatidiag relied on information from members who downloaded and shared their map files. That data is not always 100%. 22A7LN37 (software ref) in the TuneECU list is really map ref 28641661B for a stock 1098 map. If you check the refs in the JPDiag Database, a common one is stock map refs being listed as being used with performance exhausts (because a set of cans have just been installed with no DP ECU). Search 1098 instead of the map ref in the JPDiag Database. A slip on map will say DP RACING on the dash as well.
