  1. Hello,
I would like to know if I m fitting a slipper clutch to a deep sump 996R/998s engine with Pistal Pistons ,can I get any clutch from a 1198/1098/999/998 or does it have to be for 998/999 read a little about some people having issues with the correct plate thickness for a 1098 as the clutch was ment for a 999

So if you were going to get a new one which one would you get ,why ,and where from

As always I do appreciate your advice

    Many thanks

  2. Sigma Performance make good slipper clutches and you won't go wrong with one from them. There are other makes like STM etc. which you can use but no doubt others can give you their opinion on those.

My understanding is that all Ducati dry clutches will\are interchangeable apart from the centre nut size. Any slipper clutch needs to be correctly set up and you will find they do judder or grab, the best ones only slightly though. Hence the need to get them spot on to avoid this as it can make the bike quite difficult to ride.

  3. So does that mean that I could put Ducati corse 4 spring clutch in

  4. Yes that will fit
