Evening all does anyone know for definate if the 959 slipper fit the 899? I know the 1199 does and i think ive seen a thread about the 1299 fitting, But no definate on the 959 fitting Cheers
I think that the 899 has it's own clutch and the 959, 1199 and 1299 have different type. I might be wrong, I haven't tried it.
I’m fairly sure the clutch itself is different because it’s got stuff in it to make the clutch action lighter. Not sure whether it’s a different basket design or not. The clutch housing is definitely different, the 959 using the two part cover
luckily ive already got the two piece cover from an 1199 i know the 1199 and 1299 fit the 899 and seeing as they all share the same clutch between them im just going to drop the money on a used 959 slipper and see how i get on cheers
