1199 Slippy Footpegs 1199r

  1. Having purchased an 1199r 11 months ago, I had never suffered from the slippy pegs that everyone goes on about.........until I was caught in the rain whilst out on a ride, then I struggled to keep my feet on the pegs.
I have lost count of the number of bikes I have purchased and ridden and I have never had issues with slippy pegs until the 1199r (2014)
I think this is a safety issue as I really struggled to ride the bike and get home.
I have noticed that Ducati have changed the pegs on the 2015 model.
after spending £28k on a bike, why should I have to spend another £140 on another set of pegs.
Ducati should replace as a matter of safety
