Hi all I'm having real issues connecting my iPhone 6 to the bike, has any one else had any similar problems ? I activate the Bluetooth on bike to find my phone, while also making phone visible. The bike finds the phone and the phone finds the bike, the problem lies when the bike asks for the 0000 code it only there for a brief milli second then goes and so my phone now says can't find bike and visa versa, and so I have to reapeat steps from the start. In a nut shell the bike won't allow me enough time to input the 0000 from my phone to pair it's gone in a flash. Any advise or solutions would be very appreciated. Andy
When you are in pairing mode and in motorbike display is code 0000 then press and hold enter/menu button and then write that code on your phone, after that you will get it connected..
Thanks Teemu, tied that several times now and still no luck. I've also tried to connect my wife's iPhone 5 and still the same Very puzzling !!! Thanks for your reply tho
I kept trying and eventually got the phone connected which was a waste of time as the controls were erratic at best and unusable. Not to mention I have absolutely no need for it.
Connected my iPhone 5 without difficulty. Had a couple of missed calls while riding yesterday and it was handy to see the name of the caller flash up on the display. Text alerts also show an icon, but both go after a while, so easy to miss if you are concentrating hard on the next overtake/bend etc.
Good point, and very true. It would be more useful if the display message stayed up there until you choose to delete it.
....and just got a Sena 20s. Still getting to grips with it, but it's paired and I can control the music player from the bike's display. Volume buttons don't seem to work though.
Well I called into my dealers yesterday and they have fixed it, Everything connected but can't play music tho maybe it will when an update comes or the app is released, don't matter now any who, ended up getting a full termi race system so the music thingy gone out of the widow. In regards to dash scratches my dealer says there is talk of a re-call to replace dashes hopefully soon.
I'm still at a loss to understand why you would want to see who is ringing you whilst on your bike. I ride to get away from all that shite.
If its the wife.... Press on. If it's a mate who's just run out of petrol, I might just think about taking the call. Proving I'm not having too much fun .
