I only bought some last year and being as tight as i am i'd hate to think they're going to break soon. :Nailbiting:
They were not broken!! they were four years old and had covered 40000 miles and the rubber was shot and worn through, that is why I replaced them, again Oxford heated grips are bloody good.
Oh well that's good to hear. I'd noticed mine starting to wear after about 10,000 miles so it's nice to know i've got some life left in them. Now they're that far apart and still working have you thought about a good use for the element. I'd be trying to sew it into some socks. God I am tight aren't I?
GRIP COVERS - Motorcycle Foam Grip Covers | eBay If you put a pair of foam grip covers over the top of the heated grips (and replace them every year or two), the heated grips should last for ever. Mine seem to be lasting well, anyway.
