Sad to see the 998S go to a new home to make way for another project and wondering if Ive done the right thing??? Nelly had fully sorted the 998 and I can't thank him enough, it was a dream to ride I just hope this one can be brought back to life after 15 years of idle neglect. Hi Exige, unfortunately the bike sheds are soon to become an annex for the outlaws so having toy keep No’s down.
The war office doesn't know much about bikes and thought I only had one for years because they are all red and to her its the same bike that comes out of the shed every time.
Almost finished the SP1 What a difference in exhaust note to the Strada, Much louder and crisper albeit a lot lumpier at low revs. It just needs a full service by Nelly, does anyone know how to bribe him into fitting work in earlier ?? And the correct Dzus fasteners fitting that will hopefully arrive tomorrow.
Looking forward to comparing the two. Having said that he 998S I sold to buy the SP was such a great bike, easy to ride and totally predictable and I know I'll miss it but the 916 Strada is almost much the same with less power, really looking forward to comparing the SP to the Strada. Track day maybe?
