Allows you take a measurement of the rear ride height so you have a reference point which you can reset to after: Adjusting or replacing drive chain. Installing a new shock Adjusting the height to suit a certain circuit or riding style and not loose the setting you started from. Locates into footrest mounting plate hole and swinging arm pivot on gear change side. Locating the tool requires one fairing bolt and the footrest heel plate to be removed to gain clearance.
