  1. How about removing threads, such as the ones in classifieds, when an item sells, rather than just closing them?

  2. I was wondering about this - I think it's a way of saying, "see you can sell stuff through DucatiForum" does look untidy though I have to agree.

  3. That is a very valid point. I wanted to close the threads first and them delete them a few days later, allowing time for users to see that the threads been closed, rather than have it disappear overnight. Let me know your thoughts

  4. Further to my last post. I was planning on adding a post on each thread that is still active to see if the parts(s) are still for sale. This will have two effects, hopefully. Firstly it will 'bury' the closed threads further down the page and secondly will help users determine what is available. Again, your thoughts on this would be welcomed

  5. if it aint broke don't fix it :upyeah:

  6. Erm...why not just leave them? I have wondered why so much work is created moving threads, merging threads, closing threads when I'm not sure it adds any clarity or value :)

  7. ...if somethings has sold just delete it, it just wastes space, memory, etc, serves no purpose other than as a guide for pricing??? Not sure that's a valid enough reason to keep it hanging around, just my thoughts ...
