I have been hunting for a source for a new rivet band or rivet strap for my resto project 900ie..the exhausts are carbon oval Ducati Performance by Remus, I ordered a correct length strap from Exhaust Parts UK, but unfortunately the slots are different lengths and therefore the holes don't line up... Does anyone on here have any spares or know where I will get the correct one? - I really, really, don't want to have to make one!! Cheers Grant
Can you measure the hole centre distance on the ones you need to replace, I have some that from memory look similar.
Am I sad that I love a properly dimensioned drawing... Brings back memories of getting thrown out of drawing class in 1994 for whacking my mate with a ruler... Them were the days
I'll try to have a look this evening TRM. Obviously what TRM has supplied gives everything I need to see if I can help him. And excuse me for the following TRM. But it's far from correctly dimensioned. I honestly can't remember the British Standard number for third angle, or even first angle, projection drawings(Chris ?), but one should never dimension for example both the individual 70, 70, 50, 70, 70, and the total of 330.
I agree, if it was for me the correct is only the bottom dimensions (measuring to a datum), however I added the top ones as I don't know how someone else measures at their end, and a lot of people who are not in the know would use the top dimensions.
