Bit random for a Ducati Forum, but is anyone else going to the Southampton Boat show on Thursday this week? I like doing the show by myself as I can stop and look at what I want for as long as I like, and chat to the many people I know on the stands when they are not busy with real customers with money to spend, but it's always nice to have a Guiness and unfeasibly expensive Baguette in company at lunchtime. Guiness Bar @12.30 anyone? Nasher
Assuming we're talking about the same company 'British Marine Boat Shows' (I think the name may have changed in recent years) I've sent it on several occasions over the last few years. It just seems like an interesting thing to get in on that compliments my interests in life nicely, although I'd imagine it's hard work particularly at certain times of the year. Being prospective it was for nothing specific. My CV shows me at senior management level in Procurement/Project Management/Operations, but as explained in the email the senior bit isn't important. It's not a problem, not many reply these days, I'm just a little disappointed they have nothing to offer. I get at least a dozen prospective CV emails a week at work, and reply to any that come from the individual rather than an agency. Nasher
