  1. SP Connect mounting hardware is beautifully made from CNC machined aircraft grade aluminium and finished in a durable black finish. IMHO a step above original Quadlock, who’ve now introduced a comparable Pro range to compete.

As I have now invested in a Carpuride setup for my navigation along with an Evotech GPS mount that uses Quadlock the following is now for sale.

The case, used wireless charging module and GPS cradle mount were on the bike for a year and used for a couple of tours. Note that the used Wireless Charging Anti Vibration Module has a slight issue with the cable, see text, it still works fine though. The Samsung case has minor signs of use on the corners where it’s rubbed in my jeans pocket, the matt surface is a little smoother. The other items have had no or very little use. All prices include post and packing for UK addresses.

Obviously if you want to buy but have a phone other than a Samsung Galaxy S22 you'll need to buy a suitable case from SP Connect

    Samsung Galaxy S22 case – RRP £39.95 - £20

For the regular Samsung Galaxy S22 (not the Plus or Ultra) – Soft flock interior, tough pliable rubber outer. Magsafe and SP Connect twist mounting point. Slight polishing on matt surface at corners where it's been in my jeans pocket (see last pic).

SP Connect’s top of the line mount, very adaptable to position your phone. Very nicely made from aircraft grade aluminium.

    GPS Cradle Mount – RRP £69.95 - £35

Fits with other mounting systems using the AMPS hole pattern. If you’re an existing Garmin user then this should allow you to adapt your existing four hole mount to the SP Connect system. Can be used with the pivoting plate or attached directly to the AMPS base plate for a low-profile adaptation.

This mount provides both wireless charging (you’ll require a suitable USB socket or adapter to plug this into) as well as anti-vibration damping to help protect the delicate image stabilisation mechanism in most smartphones. A smarter one-piece unit than the rather clunky two-piece Quadlock one. You will also require a suitable SP Connect mount to attach this to your bike, there are a couple of options for sale here as you can see. The mount is made from CNC machined aluminium and finished in a black.

Used version complete with an Evotech base that attaches to the Evotech GPS mount. The cable on the charging head developed, over time, a split in the insulation due to an acute bend. The wires within and their individual insulation is fine. I covered this split with insulating tape and a couple of small cable ties to provide strain relief (see 2nd pic). I continued to use this, with the cable repositioned, and it works fine. USB plug shows a couple of spots of corrosion on the chrome but works fine.
