V2 Spare Wheels For Track

Discussion in 'Panigale' started by David Tarbotton, Feb 9, 2021.

  1. Just considering getting a spare set of wheels for the V2 to swap over if we ever get back to trackdays lol
Any leads as to a good place to source (rather than just a Ducati dealer)
Also has anyone swapped for a 6” rear rim to use the more available 190/55s tyre size? If so any issue with fitment/rubbing etc
Cheers for any advice (useful advice that is )

  2. Glad you asked this. I didn't really want to spend 2-3k for a spare set with wets and discs so following this thread intently

  3. I’ve come to the conclusion that there won’t be any, as they are being snapped up by the trioptions guys, and the set I did see were up over £1100. You can get forged OZ Piegas for £1700 and then you get the benefit of lighter and stronger wheels also. This is my plan

  5. Yeah seen that and thought the same.... The kill switch is the same price as mine new! But the rest is a good deal:upyeah:

  6. Most of us in Trioptions use a supersport rear wheel (got one for sale), and 899/959/V2 or V4 front.
