  1. Can’t decide if I like it or not

  2. Doesn’t do it for me

  3. It doesn't look to bad until you view it from the rear. Then the one-into-two looks fake.

  4. Yeah the welds don’t look the cleanest

  5. It may well be me, but the new Ducati way of routing the exhausts with both on the right side looks rubbish in my opinion.

I think that it looks much better the 'old' way with the forward cylinder going left and the upright cylinder going right.

I accept that I may be in a minority of one but the new Ducatis don't look very good to me. That is why when I get my insurance payout it will be a Kwacker, almost certainly. I still have an ST2 and a ST3 but my mates are saying that I should sell them.

  7. I don't disagree but I have yet to see an after-market exhaust that routes on both sides.

  8. These bikes look better in the flesh than a photograph,IMO

  15. It's the tank shape to the seat I don't like.

F3A582EF-6C30-4555-9462-48B75DBE0D25.jpeg It’s an odd thing with Monsters, I didn’t like the looks of them for years, then I saw an old M900 in Matlock and thought “actually it’s got quite a classic look to it nowadays” so I got this one to replace an EX650R winter bike that was great but characterless, really like the looks of them now, then I saw this M1200 and thought “that looks great!” So I bought that as well, maybe it’s an acquired taste or an age thing, I do understand why people don’t like the looks though, For example the baseline of the tank slopes upwards which breaks the aesthetic convention that dictates it should be level with the ground, I’ve had a few people compliment the M1200 on it’s looks and they have said the decal kit lifts it, maybe so, I like with or without, but a bikes looks are a very subjective thing, I don’t like the look of most Harleys, others love em!, good job we’re not all the same!. 377CD795-3B1A-42A3-BA63-9AFA1BCBB397.jpeg 3F0C699A-DA4A-4D98-ADEE-9CA00CD007A3.jpeg

  18. Not a great fan of the whole look of them at all but did see one in Cambridge showroom last week in a gloss grey colour which made it look a lot better, strange how colour can make such a difference.
