1199 St Neots Motorcycles

  1. Anyone used St Neots Motorcycles, are they any good? Bad?

  2. Many years ago, I bought a brake reservoir/lever from them which was in "used condition" for about £25. It had been used - true - but it was not in usable condition. I can't get too excited over it all but that was my experience.

Make sure when you buy from them that the item is in usable condition, as well as used.

  3. I've bought 3 bikes from them since 2007: 2 new Monsters, and a used 1098.

It's a small family business, not like the large dealers, but I really value that. You'll talk to Eric (the owner), Andy (his son), or Tony, and a couple of technicians in the garage.

They're a friendly and helpful bunch, no frills, but I'd deal with them in preference over a super slick volume dealer any time.

I've no complaints, and would recommend them - repeat business is my best form of recommendation.

  4. Their my local dealer.. Very helpful & always got time for folk

  5. They are my nearest dealer and I have only had good experiences with them. It is a little like going back 20/30 years as their showroom as a million miles from the big shiny and showy ones. But that is not a criticism at all . The staff are all really friendly and helpful and on one occasion last year one of them stayed late by about an hour for me so I could get there to collect the Troubles bike. Good service.
They definitely wont say "Hey Guys" when you walk in either, phew !

  6. Bought numerous bikes from them and recommend without hesitation.

Though I've sold my 1098SF I will still be popping in to see them.
