To replace the screen, I need to remove the instrument cluster and surround. I have removed the 6 bolts as per the manual. It is still not budging. Faced with destroying the surround as that will be cheaper than the headlamp fairing cracking. The bottom surround is off - no problem. I cannot take the whole fairing off as I need the instrument surround off to get to the mirror bolts. The whole fairing has been off before just to replace a headlamp bulb and battery. That time it was simple but now it is not! Anybody got any (sensible) ideas?
