My old ST4S (ST3 style) is for sale in Riders of Bridgwater. Much better than the ST3 and a bloody good bike.
Why an ST3 might i ask. The ST4S is a fantastic bike( i bought mine back from the guy i sold it to) and Tony's is a good one.
If he's anything like me it's the fairing shape that made me want the ST3 although I would have had a 4s if I could have afforded one. The oval headlight on the 2 and 4 just doesn't look quite right in my opinion, the angular one on the 3 and 4s looks so much better but the 4s bikes are rarer and therefore hold their value. My 3 cost £3750 with 20k on the clock on an 06 plate. I love it and can recommend the 3 as being great as I'm sure the 4s is too!
And last year when i bought my ST4S back it cost £3900 with 17500 ish miles on an 05 plate. See, similar prices, identical looks and loads of get up and go. Buy Tonys 4s i say
My old 4S is the same shape as the ST3 and is one of the rare last editions. Beautiful grey with red wheels. I offered it on here but no takers. Thinking about buying it back I miss it so much!!
I prefer the ST3 because of the lurking issue of the rockers on the old 916 engine, the better fuel consumption for commuting and I just dont need the extra performance of the ST4 So anyone know of an ST3 with luggage about anywhere?
