As the title suggests i have to flick it into neutral to fire up again ......I know it's a simple fix but what's the usual suspect eg sidestand switch etc ........before I start at the wrong end if you know what I mean
Check the underside of the clutch lever, there should be a pin which actuates a micro switch which prevents the starter from engaging in gear unless the lever is pulled in.
+1 on the clutch lever switch. Try that first. You don;t have a sidestand bypass installed, do you? Worth checking that too if you do. A
Yup sorted folks ........the arm on the micro switch is too short for the post on the accossato levers ....gaffa tape and zip ties at the ready ....cheers
Just read this again. Is the bike stalling when it shouldn't, or by you physically stalling it? If it's the first, as said b4, look at the side stand switch.
You can bypass the clutch switch by linking the wire together - just make sure the bike is in neutral or pull the clutch lever in.
Nah it's me stalling .....I've cracked it now ,I've bent the thin switch arm at the end it was missing by a mere 2mm .......sorted and will. Now make me look less of a numpty and ensure a factory ride in the team of my choice next year .......
