Since having a lowside a couple of weeks ago my bike is nearly repaired , ready for an event this Saturday , however sometimes when I stab the start button there is nothing , if I turn key off then back on it will fire and be fine but there is this problem every now and then. I have replaced clip-ons so thought maybe I've caught a wire from the engine kill switch on the rightside housing, need to investigate tomorrow. Of course I'm worried bike will cut out around corner leant over and it'll be another lowside or worse. There is a clicking to a relay close to the fuse area, which I'm guessing is the fuel pump relay (I'll get one tomorrow) ,really don't need that shutting down at a critical time. Could be the side stand switch as bike hit on left , can anybody think of a reason for this as I've only tomorrow to sort. Pete.
Not relay mentioned ,that's headlamp, also not fuel pump that primes fine ,so it has to be switchgear wire pinched or sidestand cut out .
