  1. Hiya Chums, need to remove the starter motor from my Multi 1100S 10 reg.
    Remove crankcase
Remove 2x 5mm bolts to starter
Remove oil feed pipes to oil cooler
Remove 1x 5mm bolt from lug on starter casing next to oil pipes
So, I can't seem to slide the starter out of the casing backwards. Do I need to remove the gear from the end of the starter to give a bit more wriggle room?
Any help would be massively appreciated as I can't get the bugger to a garage.
BTW can't seem to find anything on YouTube relevant to my model
    HELP!!!
    Stay safe, Brian.

  2. Sorry removed the THREE 5mm bolts from starter. B

  3. Hey Denzil, many thanks. On closer inspection one has to rotate the starter so that the lug is clear of the engine and it pulls out easily. Just ordered a brush plate for £30. Much cheaper than a starter motor at £450!
    Best regards, Brian.
