I don't notice it's there and the bike never shakes its head......so I'd guess it was good enough for my ability.
its not just about head shaking,my last 1098 was a base model and the best mod i carried out was replacing the standard damper with an ohlins.anyhows i didnt loctight the threads and one worked loose,i didnt know what was wrong except suddenly the bike didnt handle well. once i found and tightened the offending party everything was back to normal.
