I used to watch HIGNIFY regularly for years. I've never seen an episode for about 5 years now. It used to be funny, but all they do now is sneer and take cheap shots. It's not clever humour, but I suppose it fits in with the BBC's agenda. Another view

Been watching it for years and I still think that it's good. I think the guest presenter works better than the Angus days (where is he now?) I think that I am slow on the uptake though asI used to think that it was unfair that Ian Hislop always loses! Good line about why Ian Hislop will never do Strictly despite being asked every year - fed up with going up before judges!
I think she's attractive, but in a tomboy sort of way... telling jokes that would make a sailor blush. She's how I picture most Northern birds. Cover her face from the tip of her nose up and it could be a good looking bloke, cover from the tip of the nose down and she could be a super model. She's intelligent, which I find attractive.... All this from a middle aged fat bloke.
yip, i dated an english northern lass for a while, from near the lakes, big (as in tall) lass, wouldnt win a beauty contest but no need for the stereotypes btw. it was her patter, theres something quite joyful in the accent from around there and their outlook in life. loves it.
