Assuming one had £15k for a new bike, whats the differences between the two above? Which is the better all rounder?
I only have one comfy bike and it's a Streetfighter don't assume comfy looking bikes are comfy, the Diavel nearly killed @El Toro after a few miles
Eye. Bit weird, some bike looks small and uncomfortable, but they just fit some people nicely. Power wise is the street fighter the animal some crack on it is?
I had a 900 Monster back in '96 and it was great but a bit small for me - I'm 6'2" - and gave me cramp on long rides ~ 100 miles. Don't know about the new Monsters but when I got my ST4 it felt much sharper so if you want lazy comfort with hooligan tendencies get a Monster, if you want pure hooligan I think I would opt for the streetfighter.
Monster looks Pure turd and that includes the 1200r, Mate traded his 1098 sf for a 1200r and wished he kept the sf, Never kept the 1200r long
If you can handle the looks get a KTM SuperDuke all day.. Amazing machine. Personally I would get an interim bike until Ducati pull their finger out and make a V4 street bike. The new Diavel could also be interesting.
Street fighter - the little lady sold the monster to get a street fighter - handles better ands looks better , not so many about either
