Hi all Looking for wee bit of help please with a code my bike keeps on throwing. It will light up the check engine light, then clear the cel on next ignition sequence and store the code in the ECU. P0483, and looks like after searching Google, it's to do with the fan circuit. Both fans are working, coming on at the correct temperature and shutting down too. I did check the relay and there was quite a bit of corrosion there (I'll try to add a picture). I cleaned it up and refitted, but still getting the same code. New relay on order. Any other ideas? Cheers for the quick reply. I've checked as much of the wiring as I can, as well as the connectors. All looks good except from a small compression area near the right hand side connector. Too hard to get into to check properly just now, but I'm sure it's good. Getting continuity at the connector too.
May not be related to the fan circuit after all. The CEL came on again and I checked for codes in the menu. Got 23.1 exhaust valve, but I have a Healtech eliminator fitted. Anyone heard of these going faulty? Also any chance the P0483 code is is related to the 23.1 code? They are interlinked, so when I get the CEL the P0483 code is stored on the ECU (reading with Tune ECU).
