Streetfighter Carbon Hugger

  1. It's that time of year where I fancy some bling for the upcoming 3 weeks of summer.

    I'm going to change the standard hugger on my Streetfighter S for a carbon jobby. Has anybody done this? And more importantly do you have any pictures?

    I'm wanting something considerably shorter than the OEM item.

  2. Hi

    Yeah - I did this, replaced the original plastic one with a DP carbon on my 1098SF and its nice as you'd expect. It's somewhat shorter than the OEM. Pictures below;

  6. Great!

    I'm also thinking of the same (my OEM mysteriously broke a few weeks ago) and sharing ideas is always good.

    There's a member if this forum (Slavko) who sells carbon parts made in Slovenia. Although I haven't tried anything yet, they look good.

    Also, can you share how much you paid for yours

    Thanks

  7. I like the way that you have painted your exhaust bracket matt black Char (the one holding the cans together). I may have to do that myself.

  8. Thanks - got it coated when the exhausts were done

  9. Coated? Is it anodized, powder coated or painted Char?

  10. Ceramic like exhaust
