What kind of quotes are you guys getting? Are they excessively high as they seem to be on most new models?
Spooky! I was just about to post the same question. Best I’ve got is from Bemoto- £471. As a bench mark paying £280 on my 1299. Full no claims, good post code and 47 years old.
New bike, no statistical data and as usual 98% of the insurance underwriters either won’t quote or will quote some ridiculous sum. You could try the usual suspects, the current Ducati Insurance, B Moto or someone off the wall like IAM Surety. Andy
Although a large percentage increase compared to your 1299, sub £500 doesn't seem to bad for a 'new model'.
I thought it wasn’t too bad. First year of a new model is always shite. That’s on a standard v4s, I’ll likely go full Akras if I do get one so that’ll likely push the price up. There is a guy on the forum who has just taken delivery of a non s V4 with full thumpers, hopefully he’ll post up the insurance cost.
just about to pay around £300. mid 50s, full bonus etc out in the suffolk sticks. my 1260 Pike Peak renewal was £170 for comparison (and they wanted £800 for the streetfighter )
I just saw on Ducati UK that the Streetfighter should be fitted as standard with BikeTrac. This attracts a 15% discount on Ducati Insurance (currently Adrian Flux). https://www.ducati.com/gb/en/news/ducati-uk-join-mcia-secured-programme Can anyone who has bought a Streetfighter confirm this?
yup they are fitted and first year subs paid. don't know about discount with Ducati insurance but they were so far off in my quotes would need to be a 50% discount
Hi sorry took so long to reply been away working. Iam 61 clean licence full no claims . With bike sure and pay just under £400
