My existing foot rests and rear hangers are black (or very dark blue). I think Ducati changed from the original silver in the early 90's SS to this colour scheme. Since I'm changing the colour scheme of my bike, these won't look right anymore. I'm thinking that polished rests/hangers would look good. However I don't know whether these are just powdercoated or anodised? Would it be difficult to strip back to bare metal? Anyone else done this?
