Is there an alternative to the 42 teeth supersprox rear sprocket. The reason I'm asking is because 10 weeks ago I paid £269.16 via PayPal for a chain c/w std front and 42t rear sprocket, they said delivery would be a while but at most 8 week. For me it's been a bi annoying because I was hopping it would come before my 4k miles tour of Europe, unfortunately it didn't and during my trip I had to pay 210 Euros to get a new chain fitted as my other was on it's last legs. So I already have a chain with only 1500 miles on it but on old but not to badly worn sprockets. I'm fed up with waiting now I've emails Calsport but they still cant give me a delivery time. I'm thinking of raising an issue with PayPal to get my money back but I cant seem to find a 42t rear for my bike.
14T front, £30 odd quid, roughly equal to 15-43. Works a treat, I love it on my 2010, if you don't like it you haven't spent too much dosh.
I'd email them, tell them they took so long that you had to buy a chain anyway. Tell them you want a credit back to the value of the chain, then just hold on for the sprocket.
I also had to get a new chain fitted while I was in Italy recently. Cost me bit more than yours too When I got back I fitted new sprockets from www.ducatimondo I must have got the last 42 tooth rear though because it seems they are now out of stock. It was only £67.
Well raised a Ticket through PayPal for a refund, it's been 11 weeks and not heard any news. that said though they have 28 day in which to reply.
I ordered a talon special order rear sprocket from HPS,two weeks from order to delivery, 11 weeks is taking the piss.
I bought a Supersprox for my Monster from Sportsbikeshop (after it munched through 3 Renthals in under 5,000 miles!) it was in stock in various tooth counts - don't know if they have them for your bike? but worth asking.
Bigrisk website, DID ZVMX gold chain 108 links including supersprox 40 or 42 rear and a 15 tooth front, €319 plus delivery, I didn't go as far as finding out cost of delivery. I got my supersprox from there, ordered Sunday delivered Thursday! Fantastic! There are options on colours and all sorts. Worth a look.
