Nah, we rarely do. i can just about see Glencoe on one side and Aonach Mor on the other, but we never see it here in the middle. which is Good/Bad depending on the day of the week. there's Plenty on the hills behind me right enough. v.purry
I'm guessing Scottish ski resorts, who ordinarily live hand to mouth because of the inconsistency of the weather, will be suffering financially more than ever before, which could lead to receivership as in the case of Cairngorm a couple of years ago??
you probably know this more than anybody else on here, but they do make more in the summer with mountain bikes, walkers and tourists than they do in the winter. Glencoe has been around for about 80years? if the locals are smart, they will accept these places as loss leaders and go with the funding that is required to keep em going. i am currently being badgerd to go get some fuel so we can head up the back with the bikes, quad and long length of rope and a sledge.
We’ve got more again this morning. But this time it could be good enough to snowboard on at Wessenden Reservoir if it keeps dumping big flakes like it currently is.
true, me too. the upshot, it's a v,purry commute when he weather is like this. there are worse ways to start the day.
