Hi All, I bought a lovely 2004 S4R Monster late last year and I was having trouble getting the suspension to feel confidence inspiring and capable. After a while I gave up trying to improve it myself as with so many variables I was staring to make things worse. I googled bike suspension set up near me and found SDC in Stevenage. They were very helpful on the phone and I booked the bike in. They worked on it for an hour or so after listening to my comments on what I thought the bike was doing and asking what sort of rider I am and I have to say I am delighted with what they have done, the bike feels so much better, totally transformed . They did explain what they had done but most of it went over my head and to be honest I dont care as I`m just enjoying the improvement. Anyway, there you go, SDC Stevenage , highly recommended for suspension set up and handily close to Bike Stop in Old Stevenage where you can go for a coffee and look at all the lovely bits of kit. Please remember though boys and girls, with 2 good bikey places Stevenage might seem like a bikers paradise .It isnt though, to quote from In Bruges " Its a shit hole " Other opinions are available.
Had my Nemesis set up by them on their rolling road/dyno and no complaints at all. Yes Stevenage is generally a shithole and has very limited attractions to normal people.
