Suspension set up help

  1. I'm looking for help with the setup of my 2013 MTS, basic model, Showa rear/Marzocch fronti. It handles well, but I feel some tweaking would improve it no end. It came on Pirelli Scorpions, which I have to say were bloody good (to my surprise) including in the rain BUT they seem to have suddenly dropped off a cliff with the front in particular wearing strange, and on the wear bars at the sides with only 2100 miles. So they will be history shortly and replaced with pr2s. My question is this, the bike tends to dive a bit on the front brake, is this just the long travel suspension? At speed on bumpy roads the front end seems harsher than it should be...damping? And (breathe), should the back tyre not be showing more wear than the front or is this just a trait of the Scorpion tyre? Now I don't hang about, on a private section of road when tested the bike will develop a gentle weave over 120mph, again I don't know if that is to be expected as it isn't a sportbike (this is my 1st adventure type bike after GSXRs, R1s etc.). There looks to be plenty of adjustment on the front forks and I'm not sure what to try. The ride when travelling at shall we say more sedate speeds is superb and well balanced. This is just a bit tweaking for spirited riding.
