  1. As an alternative to a navihalter, I have just fitted the SW Motech sat nav holder. It sits on the handlebar clamp. Not wired in or tested yet, will let y'all know how it goes.[IMG]

  4. That looks a good fitting. How is it in use ? I've used a ball with thread that came with the sat nav in the bottom left clamp screw hole. The unit is then not central unless I tilt the fittings which makes it look unsecure. It's not but it does tilt a bit when I tap the screen

  5. Tried it today, Steady as you like, no vibes. Good position for me as I wear varifocal specs. Tilts so you can see the screen in all sunlight conditions. Is quick release but don't need that for a TT tho. Wouldn't be any good with a tankbag.... HTH

  6. Looks good fella. I was looking at a similar mounting solution for my iPhone Plus that works in conjunction with a quad lock case.

  7. I have the navihalter but am considering a change down to the top clamp like you have done. How much was the set up and how do you find it looking down to the screen? Even though it wobbles around, I do like the fact that a glance is enough to see my garmin on the navihalter. As you said, maybe it works for you with wearing varifocals.

  8. about £55 IIRC, and yes I find the glancing down easier cos of varifocals.

  9. Not a bad price, Cheers!
