Synthetic Petrol-possible In The Near Future?

  1. Agree, the oil companies have done their best to buy up a lot of start up hydrogen/electric companies/patents to keep the status quo for oil going and also keep a "new technology in the packet just in case", goes back to the 60's

    The worry now is, is it too late when a number of countries have said electric by 2040, I hope it isn't. I wonder if it will be like the vhs versus betamax battle?
     
  2. I honestly believe that Batteries are Betamax, Hydrogen is VHS and beyond. The fatcat car companies however, are not about to do a U-turn on the billions invested in battery tech, but we all know, it's not the way forward.
