  9. Och aye

  10. OH God I got caught at the Green Welly by a bunch of them returning a couple of years back.

Had no idea it was on, when suddenly into the sizable bike park roars about 20 Harleys, I was stunned by the noise and blinded by the chrome, like some sort 2 wheeled flash bang.

Next comes in 2 trikes, not home made jobbies, built by some English mob, they were virtually identical. They park right in the middle of the bike park, blocking the exit for a whole lot of other bikes that now were sandwiched in by these 2, 3 wheeled road blocks.

Then they are altogether high 5ing each other and calling one another bro and dude.

It was so funny a little bit of wee came out.

I'm on the Magni a 1992 Guzzi in essence. On the old part of the lochside road on the way home I starts to scoot by the inevitable queue. Before the obligatory bus, which is causing the queue, are 2 HDs riding abreast and dodging out & in with a great deal of noise but no success trying to overtake said bus.

Now I'm slow very slow but I literally blew past the 2 of them and the bus in less than 1/4 mile (its a twisty road), so they provided me with 2 lots of entertainment that day.

Not really my thing but live and let live

  11. Chunder in the Glen - good name for the event though :Vomit:

  12. ...nothing against them, just don't like em!

  13. T B H i dont expect to be held up much by them myself !!!!

  14. That TT will leave all those leather trouser with tussle stitching bankers and their blue rinsed bingo winged wives in heeled cowboy boots for dead.

  15. I'll be honest, its not the bikes, its the lifestyle thing. Big Ginger Dave fae Wishaw and his pal wee Danny the dentist with full riot gear (bandana, chains and leather tassels) and all that autosol.....

  16. tbh , none of it really appeals to me,, harleys are not what they used to be,, just an excuse for me to have a nice run out on some nice roads and maybe, just maybe , see one or two nice bikes,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, wonder how many " polite" vests will be on display,,................. still, interesting to see some of the usual suspects on here trying to be funny..:Banghead:, they are just about as boring as most of tomo characters will be...:)

  17. Apologies for trying to be funny......:Sorry:

    I'll get me coat..

  18. sorry mate,, any critisisim was not directed at you .o_O

  19. So what is the etiquette for passing a gaggle of Harleys ?

  20. tbh, i expect it is the same as usual,, take them by surprise before they can thwart you !!
