It's some place up there. First decent trip I did on my current bike was up over there in 2007. Climbing the side in your photo was a bit hairy as it was covered in crazy low cloud. I spent the whole ride up expecting some maniac local to come flying round a bend towards us filling the whole road, but we never saw a soul. And we didn't see any of the view either due to the cloud. Next morning, we came back over the top and were smacked in the face by the view exactly as in your picture. What a place! The roads there and back in all directions are just awesome. I'm originally from the Highlands and I miss it a lot. Still within a couple of hours of home if I get the time though, but Applecross etc. is still a fair bit too far unless it's a stopover. Enjoy! Andy
