Hi guys, it seems the steering head bearings of my 899 have failed. Rather than going in for the OEM replacement, I would like to order a set of "All Balls" tapered bearings. Anyone know what part number I should get? Thank you!
Are you sure they've failed and not just need adjusting? I find it hard to believe a relatively new bike will need Head race bearings already? Unless it has been abused. Even so the OEM bearings are a tapered type! And are a known quality brand. The only problem with All Balls kits is you never know what brand they are until they turn up. Another thing you will have a nightmare removing the races from the frame bearing housings.
