I'm watching it as well, I'm following Greipel on Strava too, these guys are absolute machines! Andre G. | Professional Cyclist on Strava
we were not watching today mate,,, been out and about trying to get Che some decent leathers..dont even know how Andy got on yet !!
I record / watch the TdeF highlights program on ITV4 at 19:00 Cav won the day with a well timed sprint Froome is officially in Yellow
yes watched it later tonite,, good finish there from Cav,, didnt get it all,, so , what happened to Martin ( in yellow yesrerday ),, he is in hospital !!
Martin crashed close to the end of yesterdays stage and broke his collar bone. He finished with the help of his team mates and got the winners time so retained Yellow but was unable to start today.
I watch it. I've been a fan since the days of the Greg/Laurent battle, and enjoyed the Big Mig years, no emotion ever on his face as he pounded through. Used to love the old channel 5 coverage, almost like a 'magazine' type programme on French life and the areas the Tour went through. Whatever happened to El Diabolo? Been harder since it went to itv 4 ,I've never lived in an area that can receive it, so its highlights only, when I get time. Good podcast with Cav and the art of the sprinter on the bbc iplayer this year-well worth a listen to the interview with him, reccomend you hunt it down. Froome, ? No one seems to love him, will we ever see Sir Chris.....?
watch it every day,, dont understand why peeps dont like Froome,, he seems a nice guy to me,, and doing well..( watched a doc on his life and career the other eve ) let his riding do the talking..
Contador and Nibali seem to be falling away and van Garderen can't quite get there, so it looks like Quintana is the only real threat but is over 3 min down on Froome. Looking good for the Alps. Can Cavendish get to within 1 stage win of Hinault tomorrow ?
I wouldn't count out contador just yet, I think he will start to come good in the Alps, however he has a lot of time to make up... I like froome, it was absolutely disgusting what happened to him yesterday though, the French press have a lot to answer for!
Yeah, cheese eating surrender monkeys don't like it up em. Loved the finish yesterday when Steve Cummins spoiled the party. As for Contador, he's obviously run out of drugs. Same as me.
After a blistering rise to fame at the end of the Lance Armstrong era Contador now appears not quite so great as he once did.
