Was enjoying a very pleasant and sunny morning down at the Ace Café's Blue Haze day yesterday until someone dropped their bike onto mine which has cracked the headlight surround/beak (see wanted section pls). One thing I saw there that I thought would appeal to Hyper owners was a Yam TDR that had an RD500 V4 motor installed in it. The thing was an engineering marvel right down to the superbly made Gibson custom made 1 off expansions. Oh and to finish it off the reg was R500 TDR, it has full carbon bodywork now but there an old pic here Vintage Enduro Discussions: Custom Yamaha TDR 500 (1/1) it was sweeeeeeeeet . A few years back at the TT a lad had a TDR with an RD motor in it...no where near as tidy as that but fuck me it went....I used to have a TDR years ago....probably one of the best all round bikes ive ever had.
