For Sale Tentative 848 Wheels/wets/discs £800

  1. Putting up a slightly tentative one here.

    got a pair of standard 848 wheels, with standard discs, plus some average used wets.

    £800 all in.

    I'm not 100% on this yet but I really need to pay the bloke I bought them from for the wheels and not sure how I'm gonna manage it at the moment, so may be better to get them sold on and pay him off.

  2. Sounds a bit pricey for standard/average wheels etc.
    Not looking, just commenting on the tentative idea.

  3. You rekon ? even with discs and wets ?

    these went for £680 without discs

    DUCATI WHEELS 1198 1198S 1098 1098S 1098R | eBay
    The other wheels on Ebay are over £900 without discs.

  4. I sold a pair with new wets and no discs for £600 and that was the height of 848 cup before 899 started

  5. So I'm in the right sort of ball-park then :)

    If someone wants to collect I'm happy to come in at £750.

  7. There's a set on ebay now, with wets and discs for £450!

    But that's too cheap if you ask me!

  10. Sorry to bust yer bubble!
    In my experience, standard cast wheels are often overpriced and therefore very difficult to sell.
    I just got rid of a set of 749/999 standard wheels - I had to virtually give 'em away - I got £280 for the pair (no discs or tyres). Fakkin bargain for the guy who bought them.

  11. no worries fella.. I'm not offended :)

    I better go up and check what wheels they are actually, cast or forged etc :)
