899 Termi Exhaust Kit, 899

  1. Iam looking to swop my 848 for a new 899, i want the termi exhausts but all the dealers will do is fit them Foc! No cash knocked off the cost of exhausts.! Now you can buy them elsewhere for about £1000. Has anybody fitted and loaded the 'up map' themselves?? Or is that bit a dealer only job?? Does the fueling or TPS need to be tweaked after or is this all taken care of within the new map??

  2. ive done it on my 1199 and uploaded the map its easy ,yes it takes about 3hrs but my dealer wanted 4hrs labour at £66 per hour not a flookin chance, im thick with computers etc and the up map is simple,

  3. you turn ignition on ,plug in up-map the dash asks ? do u want to accept ,click the menu button ,un plug takes about 1 minute ,

  4. Thanks for the replys guys, so no need to have the TPS or mixers reset/adjusted as you would with 848 etc

  5. no mate the up map sorts it ,will say mine much smoother with termis on ,
