  1. looking for a termi style carbon heatsheild. The kind that bolts to the subframe. Also looking for info on the additional parts required like the oem metal sheild that goes under it ect.
(Admin could you please keep this thread here as it's also info I require) thanks.

  2. I should add I'm intending on fitting this to my standard header.

  3. My advice is don't bother. Far more trouble than it's worth as the heat makes them look awful after a while.

  4. Did you ever get round to fitting one?? Any photos of it discolouring?

  5. Hey James, there is a chap that sells them on ebay, his account name is carbonfibrefever. He's a decent chap and I'm sure you could email and ask him about his experience with the termi style heat shield and how it holds up to the heat. There obviously is the option of speaking to Conquest Carbon too, who advertise on here and I'm sure would be happy to give his view on how this version of the heat shield holds up. Guessing you had no luck finding an Ilmberger version then!?

  6. yeh ive got pics. hold on and ill get one

  7. Apart from the fact it's a fiddly job fitting it. After 1 ride it looked like this. A couple of rides later it was removed and returned. It went brown and all the heat resistant wrap inside went everywhere over the bike. The bike was written off a bit later that month. My new one hasn't got one fitted for this exact reason.

  8. Where was this one from??

  9. conquest carbon

  10. Can you remember the make? Fullsix ect??

  11. Fullsix was this particular one

  12. I've managed to source a ilmberger ceramic..... Just gonna go for it

  13. Good man, I know they're expensive but it's pointless buying anything else really as you'll know it'll just eventually burn. Make sure you post up some pictures of it fitted [emoji106]

  14. Will do mate. Does it fit with the original metal sheild under it?? Also did you have any problems with the bolts coming loose?

  15. So no, you don't use the metal shield underneath it and no, my bolts have not come loose.
