Got a chance to but a Termi back box for my 749 .... back box only will it need a remap ? And ultimately is it worth just the silencer ? Ta very much Gaz
You also need the front link pipe to remove the horizontal cat. The DP ECU will stop the bike running lean.
Had mine remapped without the DP ECU. Just got the stock ECU flashed by a specialist with a DYNO. I found the remap necessairy because after i installed the termi while at around 3-4K rpm the exhaust would stutter (don't quite know how to describe it but it sounded like hickups). After the remap the bike ran super smooth and power delivery was much more linear across the RPM's. Grtz, T
