I'm upgrading to a full system so selling my slip on's termignoni slash can which are in very good condition and the only exhaust for a Ducati I'm look for around the 600 mark and hopefully taking them off my bike this week to put on eBay I also have two DP ecu's up for sale one for one for a 848 evo corse 96523212B and one for a 848 evo 96523310A full system I think, Cheers
aren't the end cans the same on the the full system? on the old style cans its only the headers that are different afaik
I have a full system on my 1098s with the old style oval Termi cans. Will these fit directly onto the existing pipework in their place?
I've already got the full system pipework on the bike so no need for the link pipes. I'm assuming the cans without the link pipes will slide straight onto the branch pipe?
This is my 70mm system on a 1098s and the circled area would have to be where the slash cuts would have to connect ? Not sure its do-able ??? Anyone help ??
Consensus seems to be from a ducati dealer to just connect directly into the end can as entry diameters are all the same. Basically as per my pic above. No having to relocate lugs or anything just remove the link pipe from the slash cuts and slide the can on to the existing pipework. However looking at some pictures it appears that some models of slash cut have an extension piece welded directly to the can which would need the fastening lugs relocated. Still none the wiser !!!
There's no link pipes on the full system. No getting around re welding the spring tabs onto the outside. Very easy job. Shouldn't cost more than £10 / £15 for a local fabrications shop to do. If you left the existing lugs on the inside, it'd mean that if you came to sell the bike later on without the full system, you could sell it for use with ovals or slash cuts.
