Hi I have just bought a termi silencer and decat pipe for my 06 999 can I just fit it straight on without causing any issues or do I need to buy an ECU specific for the system Thanks guys
I have a 749 the same year as your and fitted my slip on termi without any issues what so ever. If anything it seems to idle slightly better now although strictly speaking it'll be a good idea to get the ecu 'flashed' to suit the termi system if your looking for more power. I just wanted mine to sound like a Ducati should rather than making it any quicker so didn't bother. I've run it like this for over a year now and have no complains yet.
Cheers mongoose just a bit concerned as I have read few posts outlining possible overheating issues as the engine is running lean than can cause major engine issues over time
