So here's my Termi exhaust, it just disintegrated, Terminigoni have no interest and neither do ducati £1700
Thats a lot of money to pay for a shite product.
    BE WARNED

  2. Pics not loading

  3. I know, try it now

  4. Holy crap!

    What happened?

  5. What is all that stuff on it?

  6. Christ. I was expecting a couple of failed rivets. That’s mental. I’d get back onto Termi and keep at them

  7. Yours is as good as mine mate, it just disintegrated while i was in Austria, managed to cobble a repair together with spray cans, liquid metal, engine sealer and 2 big jubilee clips, ended up stronger than before

  11. Niner, the fact you don't have pics of the failure prior to the repair may be working against you.
These pics make it look like it's been in an accident.

A friend of mine had his cat on his brand new dvt disintegrate on a trip to the alps, which needed a repair like yours. He had loads of pics of the failure pretty repair though.

I really hope you get something sorted. Did you by any chance pay with a credit or debit card ?
That would be worth a try if you did.

  12. Could it have possibly overheated and sort of melted, did you notice the engine temp at the time of failure. In any event, that shouldn't have happened, hope you get something sorted.

  13. I'm not feeling like you've fully disclosed whats gone on with this end can. Seems that its been in several crashes & had repair(s) & you expect a replacement? It's a racing can anyhow so you or I have to basically agree its money disappeared if you throw the bike down the road/track.

  15. Having read a bit on the tinterwebs, this isn’t the first titanium exhaust to do this. Titanium is brittle and the exhaust pulses and heat cycles weaken it over time.

  16. I was advised against ti manifolds when I bought a system for my car. Stainless is a better heat soak material. Inconel is excellent too. Gone the same way with V4S. Stainless headers and Ti silencers :):upyeah:

  17. It might not be the way you want to go, but I keep seeing links to a company called re-perform on Facebook.
They repair all silencers, so you might be able to get it resleeved at a sensible price.

  18. Thats a work of art, not a huge fan of the V4 aesthetically but credit where its due :upyeah:

    • Thanks Thanks x 1
  19. it has not been in any crash, it has been mollycoddled like the rest of the bike, treated with utmost pride,
It has not been raced, just usual road use, no bangs no crashes,
for £1700 i feel its very poor quality
    how dare you
