  2. Watch online now? Doesn't start until 18th Nov unless you can tell me different. Adding hype to the hype. Though it does look entertaining, if you're into that sort of thing.

  3. I've so missed these 3 bellends, it looks brilliant :)

Can't wait for this, Top Gear is back!

  4. That's exactly my thoughts. They're 3 idiots, but I didn't realise how much i missed the old format of Topgear until seeing this preview

  5. It looks just as good as the old 'real' Top Gear to me

The filming techniques look as polished (if not more so), the banter and non forced camaraderie is still there.... it just proves it's nothing special that the BBC bought to the table, it's the cast and filming techniques which can easily transfer.

I like Matt Leblanc but I'm afraid he doesn't stand much of a chance competing against this when it launches

  6. Does look very good

  7. it's a link to the advert. You can watch the advert on-line now...

  8. There was a article about the show in the Telegraph this morning. Amazon are spending £4.5 million on each episode. The BBC spent £7.5 million for a whole series. They'll never be able to compete with it.
Shame I won't be able to watch it with my miserable broadband speed, unless old episodes turn up on Dave.

  9. Don't worry I'm sure it'll be widely available as soon as each episode is premiered on amazon.

They'll be a fair few channels bidding for it and I'm sure amazon will happily sell it on after the initial Sign ups

  10. A very well crafted first episode on what must have been a huge budget. Well written, fantastic production and lovely film work. The trio seem refreshed and banter seemed good.

I did think it sailed rather too closely to the old (stale) TG format at times. Definitely one I will continue to watch but will they be able to keep it fresh enough, time will tell.

The "new" BBC TG started so badly but then improved rapidly as Chris Evans was pushed out and Matt started to really get it working.

So now there are two good motoring shows and the competition between them can only be good.

  11. internet link ???

  12. On Amazon Prime

  13. I really enjoyed that.
Super big budget production and the test track is a stones throw from my house
Those three are still funny, and that's the important thing

  14. Yes, watched it this morning and really enjoyed it.
Makes you realise how bad the "new" TG was as it lacked the chemistry.
    Gloriously silly!

  15. I thought it was over self indulgent and the long scenes of cars going round and round and round could have been improved by being edited to about half the length they took
There were several points where it was actually quite boring.

  16. Thought it was superb. Loved the MPG reference...
