Just saw live spinal straightening surgery on Channel 5. Astonishing, captivating, incredible watch. Yesterday they showed a kidney transplant from father to son (also excellent). Part 3 is on tonight at 10pm and it's live brain surgery. In the first series there was heart valve replacement and knee replacement. Not for everyone but a must see if you're interested. Lots of technical questions answered throughout each op. and a catch up on the patient from previous episode. Enjoy!
I watched the spine straightening.......the techniques (involving screws, drills, hammers and chisels) were a little "agricultural" to say the least! Good stuff though.
