I like the Prodigal comment - but it can not be an eagle - On 2 of my last 3 rides - i got hit by birds - a Swift and a Pigeon - An Eagle would have scared them off.... Luckily both times the hit to me was in the helmet - and the bird came off much worse.. On the last ride - I came very close to a heavy bird strike - a group of birds - maybe 300 in formation dropped and swooped infront of me - luckily - about 290 of them had passed the road before I got to them (I had slowed down significantly) and I was able to duck to avoid the stragglers. In 30 years of riding - never had a bird issue - few rabbits run in front of me - but never birds - and then the last 3 rides - 2 bird attacks and a close call... hopefully the rest of the year will be bird free. So not an Eagle......
Neither of the above ... "prodigal" gets my vote...... if its anything like my last years model ...its bound to want to return to "from whencs its came" sooner or later. But being my one and only son, I shall always love, forgive and forget.... (depending on how much they charge me..of course).
